Dr. Sachar is currently in private practice with Hand Surgery Associates in Denver, CO, and holds a Clinical Assistant Professorship in the University of Colorado's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Sachar received his M.D. from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY, followed by a General Surgical internship and Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island where he won the Haffenreffer Fellowship Award for Outstanding Basic Research. He went on to complete his Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery Fellowship at the Indiana Hand Center, part of the University of Indiana School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Sachar is an active member in many professional organizations such as the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Colorado Medical Society, Rocky Mountain Hand Society and the Denver Medical Society. Dr. Sachar has written for many publications and has given numerous presentations and lectures on cutting-edge topics in hand and wrist surgery. |
