Katie Edge concentrates her practice on regulated financial institutions and general corporate law. She focuses primarily on representing organizers of new financial institutions, assisting start-up companies in all aspects of formation. She serves as general corporate and regulatory counsel for a number of commercial banks, savings institutions, mortgage companies, and other financial institutions, representing clients before state and federal regulatory agencies. She also represents clients in mergers and acquisitions transactions and other corporate reorganizations. She is the former general counsel and former deputy commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions.
