Kathleen Swan is a partner in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group. Kathleen's practice focuses on corporate finance, securities regulation, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and private placements. Kathleen has represented clients within a number of diverse industries, including health care, e-commerce, manufacturing and utilities operations. She has represented various investors in connection with the purchase of several millions of dollars of redeemable preferred stock; various institutional investors in connection with the purchase of several million dollars of senior secured notes; and investment bankers in connection with the acquisition of a publicly-traded company.
In General. Kathleen earned her J.D. degree from the University of Miami, where she was articles and comments Editor for the University of Miami International Law Review, a member of the Moot Court Board and a member of the Society of Bar and Gavel. She earned her bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University. Kathleen is a regular lecturer at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and the Kellogg Business School at Northwestern University. |
