Ms. Connor is a HIPAA compliance specialist with outstanding administrative and management skills and experience. As a key HIPAA team member on several projects for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), she assisted with development of HIPAA provider outreach materials for the Electronic Transaction Standards regulation; analyzed business practices of current health care EDI intermediaries as they relate to the HIPAA Privacy regulation; and served as Project Manager and Lead Analyst on the CMS MSIS Project, which analyzed the impact of state Medicaid’s HIPAA remediation on their ability to report MSIS data. She serves as Co-Chair of HL7 Financial Management Technical Committee. Prior to joining FOX, she served as the Project Director for the State of Washington Medical Assistance Administration, where she was responsible for the development and management of the entire project to meet the requirements of HIPAA regulations |
