Kathleen A. Herkenhoff received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of California at Berkeley in 1989 and received a Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1993. While at Pepperdine, she received American Jurisprudence Awards in Constitutional Law and Agency-Partnership Law. After graduation from Pepperdine, Ms. Herkenhoff was an enforcement attorney with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
Ms. Herkenhoff is a 1993 admittee to the State Bar of California and has been admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Districts of California. Ms. Herkenhoff has successfully prosecuted several complex securities class actions, most recently obtaining a $122 million settlement against Mattel, Inc. and several of its former officers and directors.
