Katherine Hoekman concentrates her practice on representing management in employment matters, including equal employment opportunity counseling, employment litigation, and employee benefits litigation. Her practice includes employment litigation under federal and state employment statutes and employee benefits litigation under federal statutes.
Katherine is licensed to practice law by the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a member of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia and the Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia. She serves as class agent for the University of Iowa College of Law and a Rhodes College admissions volunteer.
Katherine is currently attending Georgetown University Law Center to receive a Certificate in Employee Benefits. During law school Katherine was a staff writer for the Journal of Corporation Law, staff member of the Moot Court Board, served on the Student Bar Association, and member of the Native American Law Students Association. Upon graduation from the University of Iowa College of Law, she received the Willard L. Boyd Public Service Award.
