Katherine C. Kim is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm’s Silicon Valley office. She is a member of the Firm’s Trial Department, where she focuses her practice on white-collar criminal defense and general commercial litigation.
Kathy was previously a public defender with the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County where she represented numerous defendants in New York state courts. Prior to being a public defender, Kathy was an associate at a law firm in New York City where she defended the second-largest privately held company in the United States and its subsidiary in federal and state, multi-defendant, price-fixing class action suits and follow-on private civil litigation. She also represented corporations in international cartel investigations and individuals in white-collar matters and criminal antitrust enforcement actions.
Kathy is a member of state bars of New York and California. She is admitted to practice before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts of the Northern District of California, Southern District of New York, and Eastern District of New York. She is a member of the American Bar Association. |
