Karla primary focus is real estate and business finance law. She handles property acquisition and development for a diverse group of clients. Karla provides counsel on issues of land use, zoning compliance and appeals. She structures real estate financing agreements and facilitates commercial lease and secured financing transactions for Fortune 500 companies, institutional lenders and privately-held companies in the commercial and industrial sectors. Karla is a member of the American, Ohio and Cleveland Bar Associations. Previously the director of governmental affairs for the Building Industry Association of Cleveland & Suburban Counties, Karla was also an associate with Taft, Stettinius & Hollister prior to joining Calfee in 1998. |
