Commercial Development Manager for Coronado is responsible for midstream operations and natural gas marketing as well as potential acquisitions, dispositions, and mergers and consolidations. Mr. Meyer worked at The Williams Companies for 20 years. Most recently, he was Manager of Investor Relations and worked on the successful IPO of Williams Partners, LP; Williams’ midstream Master Limited Partnership. He was Director of Corporate Development and Planning from 2001 to 2005, where he was responsible for identifying, evaluating and pursuing enterprise acquisitions, divestitures and joint venture opportunities ranging from $2 million to over $1 billion. He was also responsible for evaluating investment opportunities from a commercial, financial, legal, tax, and risk standpoint. From 1998 to 2001, he was Director of Alliance Development where he focused on creating alliances with utilities and telecom companies to utilize Williams’ energy facilities and telecommunication infrastructure.Mr. Meyer also spent five years, from 1993 to 1998, at Williams Field Services where he was responsible for gathering and processing opportunities in Southeast Wyoming, Kansas, Western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle. He was also responsible for identification and execution of new business development and acquisition opportunities with shippers and producers in core gathering areas and other targeted growth basins. Mr. Meyer started his career with Williams Natural Gas Pipeline Company where he worked for nine years in a variety of engineering and supervisory positions including pipeline and compressor design and construction, on-site construction engineering supervisor, and field operations engineering. Mr. Meyer received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1984. He has also attended Executive Education classes from Rice University, University of Chicago, and Colorado School of Mines. |
