Julie Bonasso is a Managing Director for the In-House and Associate Practice Groups of the Philadelphia office of Major, Lindsey & Africa. Prior to joining MLA, she was legal counsel for a public company specializing in healthcare information technology where she worked on general corporate, securities and litigation matters.
Before going in-house, Julie was an associate at two prominent Philadelphia firms - Pepper Hamilton and Drinker Biddle. While at Pepper Hamilton, Julie worked on corporate and securities matters for emerging growth businesses and public companies. At Drinker Biddle, Julie worked in the firm’s investment management practice. She began her legal career as a clerk for a Superior Court judge in New Jersey.
Julie graduated, cum laude, from Temple University Law School where she served as an editor of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review. She holds a B.S. in finance from West Virginia University.
Outside of the office, Julie enjoys traveling (especially to Italy!), running and cooking. |
