Julia Calnek maintains a combined litigation and transactional practice focused primarily in the oil and gas, marine construction and engineering fields both domestically and in the international arena. Her blended practice enables her to assist clients in contract negotiations and document preparation related to oil and gas and other maritime construction transactions, as well as representing these types of clients in the resolution of disputes through negotiation, litigation or arbitration. Ms. Calnek is regularly involved in preparing and negotiating agreements utilized in the energy sector, ranging from standard master service agreements, charter party agreements and engineering and consulting agreements, to contracts for major maritime construction projects including EPCI & Operations and Management agreements. She also serves as general counsel to an international engineering, project management and marine construction firm. Ms. Calnek maintains a particular emphasis on resolving complex commercial and engineering disputes through litigation and arbitration. |
