A recognized toner/printer industry leader in the development of remanufacturing standardization, Judy organized the first Standardized Test Methods Training and Certification course in the industry in 1999 that is used globally today. Since being President of Laser Tech, it has become HP, Xerox, Canon, Printronix, Tekronix, and Zebra authorized in sales and service.
Over time, Judy realized that a gap was growing between information technology and printer manufacturing as the two technologies were converging. Her vision was to re-create a company to bridge this gap and provide customers with integrated office solutions designed around people, processes, and technologies that work seamlessly to send and deliver information.
In 2003, Laser Tech acquired an information technology support company to form a business solution vision to help companies resolve the disarray caused by the convergence of the digital world of printers, the paper world of copiers, and the high tech world of networks. Judy’s vision was to provide decision makers in small and medium sized businesses with a single reliable source to manage their input and output strategy, to optimize digital, paper, and network processes, and to implement tangible cost controls. Laser Tech is the perfect marriage of network and internet, paper and copy, digital and paper, control and reliability. Under Judy’s leadership, the company’s revenues have increased by more than 500%. Recharger Magazine named Laser Tech an Industry All-Star for being a company that makes the plays.
Judy’s entrepreneurship skills for pushing company growth and aligning an instrumental team have proven successful in many ventures. She has owned and operated Traquer Software Company and Initially Yours in the Coronado Shopping Center. As Dean of a small junior college, she was responsible for the curriculum of computer science degrees. Judy graduated from Baylor University and went onto a fellowship to earn a Master Degree from Lamar University in Business and Education.
Her unrelenting focus on developing a thorough and accurate understanding of customer technology needs and delivering objective, independent, and customized solutions, has been a key driver in the company’s recent explosive growth and expansion. |
