Judy B. Harrington brings a wealth of diverse health care management experience to her role as Senior Vice President for Business Development at Health Partners. She currently oversees Corporate Communications & Public Affairs, Community Education and Marketing for the plan. Ms. Harrington is also President of the Health Partners Foundation.
Prior to joining Health Partners, Ms. Harrington was a health care consultant with Vista Ventures, LLC, where she worked on a variety of projects including consolidation of multi-hospital managed care relationships; executive recruitment; and internet and data management strategies for health plans. She has held senior management positions in business development, communications, or marketing with the University of Pennsylvania Health System; Tenet Health System; Allegheny Health, Education and Research Foundation; Aetna Health Plans of Pennsylvania and Omni Health Plan. Before beginning her career in health care, she worked for the Houston Chronicle.
An adjunct faculty member of Temple University’s Health Administration MBA program, Ms. Harrington is a contributing author of Positioning Your Practice for the Managed Care Market. She lectures on managed care. She received her MBA in Health Administration from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and Management, where she received the Mindy Wolen Outstanding Student Award. Ms. Harrington also graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple’s undergraduate BA in Communications program. |
