Juanita has over 15 years experience in commercial banking, financial management and operations and systems management. During her career she has handled projects covering public financing, strategic planning, forecasting, cash management, creditor regulations, information management, bankruptcy, crisis management and business plan development.
Juanita held key operating and management positions in many types of companies, from start-up to mature businesses. Throughout her career, she has worked on improving performance in severely troubled and stable, healthy companies. Juanita has prepared bank charter applications and dealt with regulatory agencies to accomplish necessary banking and stock offering approvals. She has negotiated lending arrangements on behalf of both creditors and debtors. Her strength is her ability to quickly analyze a company's position and communicate that analysis to the stakeholders.
Prior to joining Focus Management, Juanita assisted in the start-up of a regional bank, creating and managing all operational aspects. Juanita has also held key management positions that include CFO and Senior Vice President in a variety of industries, such as pallet manufacturing, agriculture, basic and light manufacturing, lumber, flooring, consumer finance, sporting goods, apparel, electronics, retail banking and commercial lending.
Juanita was awarded an M.B.A from the University of Wisconsin and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Carthage College. She holds a CPA certification.
