Mr. Jagid was a co-founder of TranSend, Inc. (TranSend), a leading database marketing company, where he served as the company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from March 1999 to January 2004. In that capacity, Mr. Jagid was responsible for all strategic initiatives at TranSend. Prior to co-founding TranSend, Mr. Jagid worked in the venture capital group at the privately held investment banking firm Loeb Partners Corporation. As part of that group, Mr. Jagid co-founded Intersections, Inc. (ticker symbol INTX), a financial information services company providing identity theft-protection and credit management services to consumers, with 2004 revenues of more than $152 million. As a member of that team he was responsible for developing and growing every aspect of the new venture. Mr. Jagid played an instrumental role in growing the business into the leading source for identity theft-protection and credit management services. During his tenure, Intersections, Inc. grew to over 200 employees, developed a customer base of more than 1 million subscribers and developed partnerships with many of the largest financial institutions in the U.S. Mr. Jagid served as vice president and corporate secretary of Intersections, Inc. from 1996 to 1999. |
