Mr. Gold represents domestic and foreign clients in a broad range of commercial and financial transactions, including formation, angel and venture financings, licensing and strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions and general commercial contract negotiation and drafting.
Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Mr. Gold acted as an independent legal and business counselor to several European early-stage growth companies entering the U.S. market and operating in emerging high technology sectors, such as web analytics, security compliance, software as a service, digital content distribution, secure ID card issuance and solid state laser integration.
Additionally, as an associate of the Providence law firm of Edwards, Angell, Palmer & Dodge LLP, Mr. Gold represented clients in various commercial transactions, such as radio broadcast finance and asset-based lending. As an associate of the New York law firm of Freehill Hogan & Mahar LLP, he also represented insurers in federal and state maritime and commercial litigation and arbitration matters including cargo claims, charter party disputes and oil pollution related claims.
Mr. Gold is fluent in French and conversant in Spanish, with a working knowledge of Portuguese and Italian.

o Assisted European start-up and emerging growth companies in connection with the formation of US entities, acquisition of domestic and foreign angel and venture financing, and general corporate matters.
o Negotiated a contract to deliver a content filtering system to a multinational children's media and entertainment company in connection with the launch of a social networking and gaming website for children.
o Negotiated and drafted an exclusive vendor agreement for the delivery of real-time analytics to a venture-backed, video-streaming widget developer.
o Negotiated and drafted value-added reseller, distribution and sales rep agreements with respect to hardware and software products.
o Negotiated and drafted internet technology licensing agreements, including API licenses for Web 2.0 software integrations.
o Represented financial institutions in the negotiation, documentation and closing of senior credit facilities in radio and related media industries.
