Joshua A. Smith joined Faegre & Benson in 2005 and is a paralegal in the firm's Denver office. Josh specializes in domestic and foreign trademark prosecution including the clearance, protection and policing of company brand names in the consumer product, technology, pharmaceutical and financial sectors. Prior to joining Faegre, Josh was a senior paralegal in the trademark, advertising and copyright practice group of Cooley Godward LLP. Josh was a senior regulatory compliance specialist for CommNet Cellular, Inc., a subsidiary of AirTouch Communications, Inc. where his responsibilities included federal, state and local regulatory compliance with broadcast licensing and aeronautical structure clearance, zoning and monitoring compliance issues and rulemaking of the Federal Communications Commission and Federal Aviation Administration. Josh also worked as an information specialist at Holme, Roberts & Owen LLP in Denver Colorado specializing in the areas of intellectual property, corporate securities and real estate. He received his B.A. in economics from the University of Colorado. |
