Joseph Scoby was appointed Group Chief Risk Officer and became a member of the Group Executive Board in October 2007.
Prior to this appointment, he was Global Head of Alternative and Quantitative Investments (A&Q), an alternatives platform within UBS Global Asset Management from 2003 until 2007. He was Head of O’Connor, a specialist hedge fund provider within A&Q between 2000 and 2003.
From 1995-1999, he was the Joint Head of US Equities at UBS Investment Bank. Joseph Scoby began his career with O’Connor and Associates in 1987 and became a Managing Director in 1993. He has a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Wharton School and a Master's degree in Regional Science from the University of Pennsylvania. He was born on 23 April 1965. He is a US citizen. |
