Dr. Schwarz is the chief scientist at AlphaRx and has extensive experience in the research and development of controlled release drug delivery systems. His areas of expertise cover controlled delivery of drugs, colloidal and microcorpusculate drug delivery systems, submicron emulsions (SME), transdermal delivery (topical and systemic).
Dr. Schwarz has published more than 40 articles in various scientific journals and has written over 20 patents and patent applications. He is a graduated of Tomsk State University in Russia, and completed his Ph.D. thesis on 'Synthesis and properties of alpha-C-nitrogydrazones' in 1980.
Dr. Schwarz has worked with some of the worlds leading research companies including, D-PHARM, TEVA Pharmaceuticals Industries and PHARMOS Ltd in Israel, and the BIOTECHNOLOGY Research Institute in Moscow Russia. |
