Joseph R. McCabe is a Vice Chairman and member of the Executive Committee with CTPartners, based in Boston. Joe specializes in the recruitment of senior executives in the financial services and human resources outsourcing business. Joe’s unique background makes him a valuable resource to the firm’s Financial Services and Human Resources Practices. In the financial services arena, he has conducted assignments for senior general management, Presidents, Executive Directors, and practice heads. He is known as the search industry’s leading expert in the recruitment of senior management for the 401K and other related financial services and retirement businesses. As a member of the firm’s Human Resources Practice, Joe assists companies across industries. His track record includes successful completion of assignments for chief human resources officers, business unit human resources leaders, and senior executives with direct responsibility for leadership development, compensation and benefits, labor relations, and organizational effectiveness. Joe also works with companies specializing in human resources outsourcing, recruiting CEOs, CFOs, COOs, Presidents, and senior executives leading critical functions such as marketing and sales. Previously Joe was Managing Partner of Heidrick & Struggles’ Boston office as well as the Human Resources Practice. He entered the search profession as an Executive Vice President with DHR International. During his tenure as a human resources executive with preeminent global organizations, Joe gained broad experience in managing all aspects of the ever-evolving function. While with Raytheon, he held roles of increasing responsibility, including Compensation and Benefits Manager and Manager of Labor Relations. He served as Employee Relations Manager for Ametek Aerospace Products, a former division of General Electric’s Aircraft Engine business. Later Joe headed the human resources function of Coca-Cola’s New England Division. His corporate career culminated as Vice President of Human Resources for Fidelity Investments’ 401(k) business. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Gannon University, Joe earned an MBA degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. A graduate of the Suffolk University’s School of Law, he is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. Joe is based in the firm’s Boston office. |
