Joseph Ellis was elected to Coach’s Board of Directors in September 2000. From 1999 to November 2005, Mr. Ellis served as an Advisory Director of Goldman, Sachs & Co., and he served as a Limited Partner of Goldman, Sachs from 1994 to May 1999 and a General Partner from 1986 to 1994. Mr. Ellis served as senior retail-industry analyst from 1970 through 1994. Before joining Goldman, Sachs in 1970, Mr. Ellis was Vice President and Investment Analyst with The Bank of New York. Mr. Ellis is also a founder, and has served as Chairman since December 2001, of Blue Tulip LLC, a chain of specialty stores in the Northeast. Mr. Ellis also serves as a trustee of the RARE Center for Tropical Conservation. Mr. Ellis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University. |
