Joseph M. Hall is vice president of Washington Operations for Harris Corporation. Mr. Hall is responsible for day-to-day oversight of Harris' Washington, DC office and is the senior Harris executive and spokesperson with responsibility for the company's relations with the U.S. Congress, the Executive Branch, and defense and aerospace industry representatives located in Washington.
Mr. Hall was previously vice president Government Relations in Harris Corporations' Washington Office. He joined Harris as a member of the Washington, DC office team in 1988 and has held positions dealing with congressional and federal government relations during his tenure.
Before joining Harris Corporation, Mr. Hall was a congressional liaison officer for the Secretary of the Army, assigned to the U.S. House of Representatives. He served in the U.S. Army with the Defense Attaché Offices at American Embassies in Indonesia, Greece, and Iran, and he was one of 52 Iranian hostages held captive for 444 days, later released on January 20, 1981.
Mr. Hall has a bachelor's degree in international relations from the University of Maryland, and a master's degree in political science (legislative affairs) from George Washington University.
He serves as a member of the board of directors for the Washington Chapter, National Defense Industrial Association. |
