Joseph L. Doherty IV is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Before joining the firm, Joe clerked for the Honorable Phyllis A. Kravitch on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta.
Education. Joe received his bachelor's degree in history from Emory University and J.D., summa cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law. While in law school, Joe served as the managing editor of the Symposium for the Villanova Law Review, receiving the Steven P. Frankino Award for Distinguished Service to the Law Review. Joe also received the St. Ives Medal for graduating first in his law school class.
