Joseph Ruffolo joined the Kitty Hawk, Inc. Board of Directors in 2004. He serves on the Board’s Strategic Planning and Compensation Committees.
Ruffolo is manager and co-founder of Ruffolo Benson, LLC, a firm which provides capital for management buyouts and the recapitalization of under-performing companies. From 1974 to 1993, Ruffolo held various positions with North American Van Lines, serving as the company’s CEO from 1987 to 1993. At the same time, Ruffolo also served on the executive management committee of North American’s parent company, Norfolk Southern Corporation. Ruffolo currently serves on the Boards of Tower Financial Corporation (since 1998) and Steel Dynamics Inc., a producer of carbon steel products (since 1999).
Ruffolo’s term of office as a director of Kitty Hawk, Inc. expires with the annual meeting of stockholders in 2007. |
