Jose is a native Chicagoan who grew up on the Southside but now resides up North. He has always called Chicago home except for the four years he spent in Carbondale at Southern Illinois University. In between going to class and spending quality time in the local drinking establishments Jose kept busy covering local sports. In addition to play by play duties for the college radio station he was the Sports Director and a reporter for the local NPR and PBS affiliates. He also covered the NFL's St. Louis Rams in their first season in the Gateway City. When Jose is not busy putting together effective online sales packages for his clients he can be found enjoying live music at the many great local values. You can also find him cheering on the White Sox, Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks and Salukis. Jose has over ten years of media sales experience. Prior to joining Centerstage and The Chicago Sun-Times News Group he worked at National Cable Communications, Univision and MTV. |
