As principal and chief financial officer, Jordanna Ferreira is responsible for MacFarlane Partners’ corporate and investment-portfolio financial matters, including capital markets/finance, accounting, cash management and the implementation of all financial strategies. She also oversees the firm’s corporate financial planning function and all financial reporting to its institutional capital partners. A certified public accountant, Jordanna has 24 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, and has extensive knowledge of all aspects of running an accounting organization. Prior to joining the firm, she ran a successful consulting practice in which she focused on internal and external audits, systems conversions and enhancements, policies and procedures documentation, and embezzlement investigations for a diverse set of clients. In many engagements, she functioned as a temporary or external chief financial officer and controller. Jordanna began her career with Coopers & Lybrand, where she was an audit manager specializing in working with small and medium-sized clients in the real estate, leasing and high-tech industries. Later, she served as controller for the Feinstein for Senate political campaign and was responsible for managing the campaign’s internal reporting systems and for fulfilling the accounting and financial reporting requirements of the Federal Elections Commission. Jordanna is a member of both the Association for Financial Professionals and the California Society of CPAs, and also actively volunteers with several community organizations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
