Jonathan Dodson brings more than ten years of experience leading information technology initiatives. Mr. Dodson joined Certain in 2002 as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2004, he became the Chief Technology Officer and in 2007, Mr. Dodson was appointed CIO. As CIO, he sets the technology strategy for the company, oversees technology infrastructure, and coordinates operations of Certain’s core applications. Previous to joining Certain, Mr. Dodson designed, implemented, and managed several enterprise systems for public utilities, leading internet networking manufacturers, and other private businesses. He brings expertise in advanced security and encryption technologies and is responsible for achieving and maintaining Certain’s certification for Payment Card Industry (PCI) Level 1 for service providers. Sought after as an expert in data and e-commerce security, Mr. Dodson has been featured in CIO Magazine, as well as speaking engagements at Meetings Tech Expo (MTE) and other industry conferences. He has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Michael Winner Chief Technology Officer Joining the leadership team at Certain in 2007, Michael Winner brings extensive experience in the field of online registration and building scalable web-based applications for the meetings and events industry. With more than 18 years of global technology experience, Mr. Winner, most recently led the Worldwide Technology team at George P. Johnson, creating global event marketing suite solutions for customers like Oracle, Cisco, Intel and Sun Microsystems. He has also designed and implemented content management, e-commerce, multi-lingual, business intelligence and integrated marketing solutions for Fortune 100 organizations. A sought after contributor to open source technology forums, Mr. Winner has presented at Oracle OpenWorld and is considered an expert on the agile design and implementation methodologies. He has led strategic initiatives for technology focused companies including KPMG, Compaq and IBM. Mr. Winner holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. |
