Mr. Benjamin has worked extensively in various types of organizations with a concentration in business and corporate development. Mr. Benjamin is a co-founder of Envoy Advisors. During his tenure at Envoy, Mr. Benjamin has provided a number of corporate and business development services to a wide range of clients. Mr. Benjamin has acted as an outsourced business development executive and in this capacity, has successfully negotiated, structured and managed strategic customer relationships on behalf of Envoy’s customers. Additionally, Mr. Benjamin has executed a number of transactions such as equity/debt financings, strategic equity investments, mergers and acquisitions/divestures. Prior to forming Envoy, Mr. Benjamin was the head of corporate development for Converge where he oversaw mergers and acquisitions, investor relationships and strategic customer development. Mr. Benjamin executed on a variety of transactions including a turnaround financing plan that stabilized the business and positioned Converge for future growth. Prior to Converge, Mr. Benjamin worked in Gateway’s ventures group, where he was responsible for making early and late stage investments. Mr. Benjamin started his career at GE Capital and was a participant GE’s leadership program. During his tenure at GE, Jonathan received world-class quality management, operations, sales and M&A experience. His diverse background gives Jonathan a unique combination of financial / corporate development experience, and operational / quality management experience. Mr. Benjamin is a graduate of Bucknell University where he majored Business Administration and minored in Economics. |
