Jonathan Dolgen is a private investor and has served as a senior advisor to Viacom, Inc. (Viacom), a worldwide entertainment and media company, where he provides advisory services to the current chairman and CEO, as well as other members of the company, on an as-requested basis. Dolgen has held this role since July of 2004.
Also since 2004, Dolgen has been a principal of Wood River Ventures, LLC, a private start-up entity that is seeking investment and other opportunities, primarily in the media sector.
Dolgen previously served as chairman and CEO of the Viacom Entertainment Group, where he oversaw various operations of Viacom's businesses, which during 2003 and 2004 primarily included the divisions that engaged in motion pictures production and distribution, television production and distribution, regional theme parks, theatrical exhibition, and publishing.
Prior to joining Viacom, Dolgen held various positions at Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc., Twentieth Century Fox and Fx, Inc., and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Dolgen holds a JD degree from New York University and a BS degree from Cornell University. |
