Mr. Trezona has nearly 30 years experience in various leadership positions within the healthcare field. In 1997, after a distinguished career in Hospital Administration, Jon decided to start his own consulting and medical billing firm which specializes in working with physician practices and other healthcare entities. Trezona created Premier Medical Consultants which currently performs medical billing and consulting services for multiple physician practices and clinics. These medical practices include both office-based medical practices and hospital-based physician practices, as well as Diagnostic Centers, Physical Therapy Centers and Ambulatory Surgical Centers .
After receiving his Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration from Georgia State University in 1972, Mr. Trezona served as the Chief Executive Officer of five hospitals between the years of 1979 and 1996, and as the Chief Operating Officer of two facilities from 1972 until 1979. He moved to Largo, Florida in 1994 to assume the position of President of both Largo Medical Center and Clearwater Community Hospital, until he founded Premier in February, 1997.
Mr. Trezona is a Diplomate of the American College of Healthcare Executives and received his Certification as a Healthcare Billing and Management Executive (CHBME) from the Healthcare Billing and Management Association (HBMA). Trezona is also a member of the Radiology Business Managers Association (RBMA). He has authored articles for various publications and has been a guest speaker for HBMA, RBMA and the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).
Mr. Trezona joined the MD Technologies team in February 2006 as part of the company’s acquisition of Premier Medical. He now serves as MD Technologies’ Vice-President of Development where he is responsible for promoting the company’s combined products and services in addition to the development of strategic relationships with customers and business partners. |
