Director since 2006 Mr. Shaw brings to Gallery technical and strategic expertise gained from 40 years development and operating experience in the mining industry internationally. He is a geological engineer and until his retirement six years ago was Vice President of Australian Operations of Placer Dome Asia Pacific and Managing Director for Kidston Gold Mines Limited. He has also served as a director of Delta Gold Limited, Kingsgate Consolidated Limited, Aurion Gold Limited and Zimbabwe Platinum Mines Limited (Chairman). Presently he is chairman of Tri-Origin Minerals Limited and Lodestone Exploration Limited.
