John Primrose is a Director with CTPartners, a premier executive search firm committed to performance, quality and results. John’s broad global financial services search experience and established network allow him to work closely with organizations in establishing or strategically expanding their Asia Pacific platforms,. As a member of the firm’s Financial Services Practice, John works closely with capital markets, investment banking, and private equity clients, recruiting senior-level talent to fill a variety of leadership roles and building teams to execute growth initiatives. John’s successful completions include managing directors, partners and group heads. Previously John was co-founder of Capital Markets Intelligence Ltd., a specialist executive search boutique focusing on the Asian derivatives market. In addition to his management responsibilities as Associate Director and Head of Research, he conducted searches across all asset classes and functions such as sales, trading and structuring. Prior to this, John was Research Manager at Pelham Search Pacific in Hong Kong. Posted from London, he was responsible for training researchers across the firm. He developed new delivery methods for fixed income, equity derivatives, and cash equities assignments, and created the research processes for the firm’s private banking and asset management practice. John maintained an active search practice, conducting searches in corporate finance, private equity, and equity capital markets. John began his search career with Pelham International in London. As Research Associate supporting the firm’s Fixed Income group head, John was involved in fixed income structuring, sales and trading, quantitative analysis, and credit and market risk management searches. Later he assumed leadership of the Fixed Income group’s research function. A graduate of the University of Cambridge, John was an exchange scholar at the University of Heidelberg. He is based in the firm’s Hong Kong office. |
