John M. Lund joined Nexstar in March 2008 as Vice President and Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Nexstar, Mr. Lund was Vice President and Corporate Controller of LQ Management LLC (LaQuinta) from October 2006 to March 2008. Mr. Lund also served as Corporate Controller of Excellerate HRO, a joint venture with Electronic Data Systems, Inc. and Towers Perrin, from January 2005 to November 2006. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Lund provided financial consulting to various public and private companies, including roles as interim controller and Chief Financial Officer. From 1997 to 2001, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial officer of CS Wireless Systems, Inc. which was acquired by MCI Worldcom, Inc in 1999. Prior to that, Mr. Lund was a manager at KPMG where he specialized in public reporting clients with a concentration in the communications industry.
Mr. Lund is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, the Texas Society of Public Accountants and the Financial Executive International
