Mr. Johnson is chairman of the Executive and Risk Committee. For more than five years, he has been chairman of Permian Mud Service, Inc., an oil field service company with several active subsidiaries, including Champion Technologies, Inc., Densimix, Inc., and Johnson & Lindley, Inc. He is a former chairman of the board of trustees of St. John’s School and the Houston Museum of Natural Science and was named in 2000 by Governor George W. Bush to serve as chairman of the Texas Transportation Commission. Mr. Johnson received a BE degree from Vanderbilt University in 1968. Mr. Johnson is not related to Walter E. Johnson. |
