John Huey, 60, Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, is the Terra officer newest to the company, having joined Terra in October 2006. John hit the ground running, immediately becoming involved in nearly all aspects of Terra’s business. John graduated with honors with a B.S. in Business and Accounting from the University of Kansas. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law. John brings to Terra a wealth of experience in managing the legal affairs of a publicly traded manufacturing company with international operations. He also brings the perspective of a broad network of contacts who lend their expertise on specific legal matters. John is skilled in a broad range of corporate and commercial law subjects, including SEC, antitrust, mergers and acquisitions, distribution, construction, and employment and benefits, and has worked with management and Boards of Directors of public companies on a wide variety of issues pertaining to corporate governance and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. His colleagues and subordinates find him to be personable, approachable and diligent.
