John R. Eckel Jr. Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer founded our business in 1992 and served as our President and Chief Executive Officer until April 2003 when he was elected to his current position. Mr. Eckel serves on the Board of Directors and as Vice Chairman of the Texas Pipeline Association. Mr. Eckel also serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Live Oak Reserves Inc. which he founded in 1986 and which with its affiliates is engaged in oil and gas exploration and production in South Texas. Mr. Eckel received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University and was employed in various corporate finance positions in New York prior to entering the energy industry in 1979. |
