John L. Sirera has led as WellCare's WellCare's Pharmacy area since 2002. Mr. Sirera has over 15 years in the managed care pharmacy arena. Since joining WellCare, Mr. Sirera has implemented a comprehensive pharmacy initiative, which has resulted in significant cost savings to WellCare, its members and its government partners while improving members’ access to and cost of acquiring prescription drugs. Along with other members of senior management, Mr. Sirera has led our development and launch of a national Medicare Prescription Drug Plan.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Sirera served as Regional Account Manager for Managed Markets Organization for Pharmacia Corporation. Mr. Sirera has also served as Vice President of Pharmacy to Physician Corporation of American and to Oxford Health Plans, where he acted as Corporate Pharmacy Director. Mr. Sirera received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh. |
