Financing transactions have included initial public offerings by CoSine Communications, Data Domain, Marvell Technology Group, ONI Systems, Palm, Paula Financial, SINA.com, Turnstone Systems and Universal Access, follow-on equity offerings by Adept Technology, Autodesk, Coinstar, E-Tek Dynamics, Exelixis, Inktomi, ONI Systems, Transmeta Corporation, Turnstone Systems and UTStarcom, convertible debt financings by Advanced Energy Industries, ONI Systems and PMC-Sierra, straight debt financings by Knight-Ridder, Nike, The Gap, Airborne Freight and UNOVA, and the offering of earthquake-linked securities by Domestic Re, the demutualization of, and initial public offering by, Standard Insurance of Oregon, and a variety of debt and equity offerings by Allstate and the PMI Group. Mr. Savva has also represented SOFTBANK and other venture capital funds in over 100 venture capital investments. Acquisition, restructuring and investment assignments have included representation of Vista Equity Partners, SOFTBANK, The PMI Group, and AIG in merger and acquisition engagements and joint ventures. Mr. Savva has also represented financial advisors in numerous merger and acquisition engagements. Mr. Savva has also advised clients on a variety of corporate governance and disclosure issues, including issues relating to financial statement restatements, disclosure policies and procedures, Regulation FD and director independence, and has participated in a number of internal inquiries and investigations.
