Mr. John Reingruber retired from the Department of Defense in May 2003 as the Deputy Director, Technology Programs in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (SO/LIC). He was the Department of Defense co-chair for the interagency Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) whose mission is to conduct the national interagency research and development program for combating terrorism. He oversaw the execution of TSWG combating terrorism technology development efforts, and technology development programs in the areas of surveillance and reconnaissance, explosive ordnance disposal, low-intensity conflict, and humanitarian demining. He was also responsible for the Department of Defense policy on non-lethal weapons. Under his new company, John K. Reingruber & Associates, LLC, he is using his 35 years experience in research and development to assist businesses interested in homeland and environmental security with their strategic planning, strategic alliances development, and packaging to meet operational needs. |
