Dr. Prendergast, co-founder of Palatin, has been chairman of the board since 2000, and a director since 1996. Dr. Prendergast has been president and sole stockholder of Summercloud Bay, Inc., a biotechnology consulting firm, since 1993. He is a co-founder and/or a member of the board of Ingenex Inc., Avigen, Inc., AVAX Technologies, Inc. and Antyra, Inc. From 1991 through 1997, Dr. Prendergast was a managing director of The Castle Group Ltd.
Dr. Prendergast received his Ph.D. from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, and a C.S.S. in administration and management from Harvard University.
