John J. Doucette was elected vice president and chief information officer in 2000. He previously served as chief information officer at Otis which he joined in 1998.
Prior to UTC Doucette spent 18 years at General Electric business units where he rose to his final position as the CIO of GE Lighting. Prior to that he was the CIO of the Silicones division of GE Plastics. He spent two years at GE Power Generation leading manufacturing and engineering information systems and GE's flow manufacturing initiative. Prior to GE Power Doucette spent 8 years at GE Aircraft in both small and large engine operations. He began his career with GE on the Information Management Leadership program while working at the Housewares and Audio business division.
He earned his bachelor's degree magna cum laude from Boston College. |
