Mr Pizzey was appointed as a director of Alumina Limited on 8 June 2007.
He is currently a Director of Iluka Resources Ltd, Amcor Limited, St Vincent's Institute of Medical Research and Ivanhoe Grammar School. Mr Pizzey was previously a director of; WMC Resources Ltd (November 2003-June 2005), Alcoa of Australia (April 1999-December 2003), ION Limited (in administration) (October 1999-August 2005), Chairman 2004-2005, London Metal Exchange Limited (UK) (1997-December 2003), London Metal Exchange Holdings Limited (UK) (December 2002-December 2003), International Aluminium Institute Ltd (UK) (1998-December 2003), and various subsidiaries of Alcoa Inc (USA) (1994-2003). Former Executive Vice President and Group President Primary Products for Alcoa Inc. and a director and Chairman of London Metal Exchange. Mr Pizzey is a member of the Audit, Nomination and Compensation Committees.
He brings extensive knowledge gained in over 33 years in the international resources industry and participation in international joint ventures including being Chairman of Alcoa of Australia Ltd and Executive Vice President and Group President of the Alcoa World Alumina and Chemicals joint venture, in which Alumina Limited has a 40% interest.
