Mr. Backus has served as a member of Luna's Board of Directors since September 2005. He is Chairman of the Board’s Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. Since 1999, Backus has served as a Managing Director and Partner at Draper Atlantic, an early-stage information technology venture capital firm based in Northern Virginia which he co-founded. Prior to founding Draper Atlantic, he was a founder and the President / Chief Executive Officer of InteliData Technologies Corporation, a developer of software products and services for the financial services industry. Mr. Backus earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Stanford University. |
