John Pedersen is President of the Peripheral Interventions business at Boston Scientific Corporation. Prior to assuming this role in 2005 John was President of the Company's Urology and Gynecology business. Heavy investments were made to sustain leadership in Urology and build a Gynecology business during his tenure. Sales doubled for the business during this period to more than $300 million. Previously John was President of the Company's Neurovascular business. He joined the Company in 1996 as Director of New Business Development.
Before joining Boston Scientific John was a Senior Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company.
John earned a B.A. from Princeton University completed coursework with Thomas Jefferson Medical College and earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is a member of the New England Chapter of the Young President's Organization. |
