Mr. Michener is a Member in the firm's Civil Litigation Practice.
Admissions:
Mr. Michener is admitted to practice in Missouri and Illinois and before the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Missouri, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Professional Activities:
Mr. Michener has more than 30 years of civil trial experience. He has handled hundreds of lawsuits successfully, involving a variety of claims. They include cases involving premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, products liability, construction defects, wrongful death actions, third party criminal attacks, negligent entrustment, contract and business disputes, construction accidents, infliction of emotional distress, electrocution, tortious interference, defamation, negligent supervision, wrongful discharge, false imprisonment, and malicious prosecution. He has also handled a number of insurance coverage cases, both in liability and first party coverages.
Mr. Michener is a member of the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, Tort Committee, the Defense Research Institute, the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. From 1984 to 1992, he was a member of the Missouri Bar Administration’s 22nd Judicial Circuit Bar Committee.
