Joel Fontenot is a Managing Partner of Arkoma Venture Partners, a privately held venture capital investment firm located in Dallas, Texas.Arkoma Venture Partners, founded by Mike McCoy in 1997, manages partnership investments with assets of $10 million. Arkoma Venture Partners actively seeks start-up and early stage equity investments in a broad range of technology areas including Internet related, photonics, telecommunications, software, semiconductors and information services.Joel is a member of the Board of directors of The eOriginalTM Company, and he is an active participant in a variety of organizations, including the Steering Committee of the Texas Angel Investors.Before the founding of Arkoma Venture Partners, Mr. Fontenot spent over ten years in corporate and commercial finance most recently with Heller Financial. He received an MBA from Southern Methodist University in 1988 and a BA, Economics from The University of Texas at Austin in 1979. |
