McCullen is the the founder of McCullen Capital Partners. He was most recently a managing director at Whitney & Co. focusing on investments in the communications area. For 14 years, McCullen was a General Partner and Managing Member of OneLiberty Ventures, where he focused on investments in the technology and communications sectors. He was a founding investor and director of numerous public companies, including TeleCorp, Brooks Fiber Properties, Intermedia Communications and MetroNet of Canada. He was also the founding investor in Extraprise and several other prominent private companies. McCullen spent 11 years in public service. He was an Assistant to the President and Assistant Secretary to the Navy; he served in the U.S. military as Infantry Lieutenant and Navy Petty Officer. McCullen has been awarded two Distinguished Service Medals. In recent years, McCullen has been active on a pro bono basis, serving on several Federal boards, commissions and White House panels. He is a graduate of Villanova University, where he holds an honorary doctorate. |
