Jim Goodchild serves as the Chief Lending Officer. In his role, he is responsible for all business origination activities, business strategy, Credit Policy and Portfolio Management & Quality. Prior to his current position, Goodchild served as Chief Corporate and Investment Banking Officer for Builder Finance. He joined RBC Builder Finance in March 1998 as Chief Risk Officer, responsible for risk and credit policies. Before RBC, he served as CFO/COO for Baltic International USA. Goodchild has an extensive background in credit policy and commercial lending, with over 25 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate underwriting, credit, and loan review. He is a graduate of the University of Houston with BA degrees in Finance, Russian and Soviet Studies, and International Relations. |
