With over 24 years of healthcare-related operations experience, HealthTrust Purchasing Group President and CEO, Jim Fitzgerald, oversees HealthTrust’s financial and operational functions as well as manages the contracting for suppliers, pharmaceuticals, and capital equipment totaling over $10 billion annually. During his career, Jim has managed financial operations, financial auditing, accounts receivables, health information systems, and supply chain operations. He received a bachelor’s degree from David Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN and was formerly a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Federation of American Health Systems and a board member of the Tennessee Minority Supplier Development Council. |
