Mr. Bixby has been associated with SeQual Technologies since its earliest days, as an early investor and board member. He became chairman and CEO in 1998. He holds a number of patents in video, communications and magnetic recording systems.
Prior to joining SeQual, Bixby served as Vice President of Business Development for Rockwell Semiconductor Systems (now Conexant) in San Diego.
From 1983-1996, he was with Brooktree Corporation (NASDAQ:BTRE) in San Diego, completing his tenure as Chairman, CEO and President. During this period, the company grew from its initial startup phase to a public company with revenue exceeding $130 million. The company was sold to Rockwell Semiconductor Systems for $270 million in September 1996. |
